Stitch magazine: Joining the cross stitch revival
Interweave's latest lovely edition of Stitch magazine proclaims cross stitch is undergoing a revival, and I happen to agree - which may be precisely why they interviewed me for the article. Woot!
The issue just hit newsstands this month, and I nervously picked up my copy this weekend at my local Barnes & Noble. I've had my work displayed in magazines before, but it's not often I'm interviewed for a piece. What if I said something completely inane? The issue sat in my bag for a whole day before I worked up the courage to read it.
Fortunately, author Linzee Kull McCray did a lovely job, and somehow made me sound like I knew what I was talking about. The piece also mentions some of my favorite designers like Bari J. Ackerman and Anna Maria Horner. Having my work in the same company as theirs is an absolute thrill.
Go grab yourself a copy of Stitch. In addition to the cross stitch piece, it has some fabulous sewing projects to keep you busy when you're not cross stitching.
